The KennelPrivacy Policy
Who we are
Kennel.gg ("The Kennel") is a community for the game WARDOGS, run by Sombrero. It runs this website, the Kennel.gg Discord, the Kennel.gg Wager/Tournament Plugin for OBS and the Kennel.gg Wager Bot. Contact: info.kennel.gg@gmail.com. We're not affiliated with Bulkhead or Team17.
Signing in
You can create an account or sign in with Discord, Steam, Twitch or Google. From each one we receive and keep only:
- Discord: your user ID, username and avatar, and whether you're a member of the Kennel.gg Discord.
- Steam: your SteamID and public profile name. This confirms you own the account you play on.
- Twitch: your user ID, login name and whether you're live. This confirms the stream is yours, so we can check the streaming rule.
- Google: your account ID, name and profile picture. We don't ask for or store your email address.
We never see your passwords. You can unlink a sign-in method from your account at any time, as long as one stays linked.
Your profile and results
Your display name, avatar, country (if you add one), Twitch channel, wager and Cash Cup results, scores and ladder rating are public on kennel.gg and may be shown on stream overlays and in the Kennel.gg Discord. Your Discord ID, Steam ID and sign-in tokens are never shown publicly.
The OBS plugin
While you're in a wager or a cup, the plugin reads the cash counter and money feed on your WARDOGS game capture and sends those numbers to Kennel.gg to score the match. It also sends:
- the plugin version and basic reader health, such as frames read;
- whether your stream is live and your game capture is in the streamed scene;
- your game language, because cups require English.
For disputes and checks it can upload a small still image of the money area of the HUD only. It never uploads your webcam, your microphone or the rest of your screen. Evidence images are visible only to tournament staff.
The website
- No tracking cookies and no ads. When you sign in, your browser keeps a sign-in token in local storage, and you can clear it by signing out.
- Our server keeps standard access logs (IP address, page, time, browser) to keep the site running and secure, and deletes them on a rolling basis.
- Plugin downloads are counted with a daily hashed visitor ID, never the raw IP, so we can see how many people download it.
Sharing
We don't sell or rent personal data. We share it only as needed to run the service:
- with the sign-in providers above, when you use them;
- with our hosting provider;
- when the law requires it.
Stream embeds on the broadcast are served by Twitch under Twitch's own privacy policy.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep your account and match history while your account exists, because ladders and past results depend on it. Evidence images are deleted after the cup or wager is settled and any dispute is closed. To get a copy of your data or have your account deleted, email info.kennel.gg@gmail.com or message staff in the Kennel.gg Discord. Deleting your account removes your profile. Past results may stay on record under "deleted player".
Age
Kennel.gg is for people who are old enough to use Discord and Twitch in their country, and at least 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and post in the Kennel.gg Discord.
