Helmets
Four protection tiers plus a Ghillie variant. Heavier helmets cover more but slow you down.
| Helmet | Price | Weight | Protection |
|---|---|---|---|
| Light Helmet | $200 | 1 kg | Low |
| Medium Helmet | $500 | 1.6 kg | Medium |
| Ghillie Helmet | $2,500 | — | Concealment only — no damage reduction |
| Heavy Helmet | $1,500 | 3 kg | High |
| Super Heavy Helmet | $3,000 | 4.5 kg | Very High |
Body Armor
| Armor | Price | Weight | Protection |
|---|---|---|---|
| Light Armor | $400 | 3 kg | Low |
| Medium Armor | $1,000 | 4.5 kg | Medium |
| Heavy Armor | $2,000 | 10.5 kg | High |
| Ghillie Armor | $3,000 | — | Concealment only — no damage reduction |
| Super Heavy Armor | $4,000 | 18 kg | Very High |
Ghillie gear protects nothing. It is confirmed concealment-only with no damage reduction, so Ghillie Armor is $3,000 and Ghillie Helmet $2,500 for zero protection. They are camouflage bought instead of armour, not a tier of it — a deliberate Recon trade, and a trap for anyone reading the table as a ladder.
Weight is the real cost here, not cash. Light armor is 3 kg; Super Heavy is 18 kg — six times heavier, and a genuine commitment to holding a fixed position rather than moving. See Role Guide: Recon on why heavy armor plus a long gun gets you caught out of position.
Tactical Vests
Vests govern quick-slot access — how much you can reach without opening your bag.
| Vest | Price | Grid | Weight | Unlock |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Small Tac Vest | $100 | 4×3 | 0.82 kg | None |
| Medium Tac Vest | $250 | 4×3 | 1.65 kg | Career Lvl 14 · $10,000 |
| Large Tac Vest | $400 | 4×3 | 3.6 kg | Career Lvl 50 · $25,000 |
Backpacks
Your bag decides how much you can carry. WARDOGS uses a grid, so capacity is a shape problem, not just a number — a full pack can still refuse a specific item.
| Backpack | Price | Grid | Slots | Weight | Unlock |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pouch | Free | 3×2 | 6 | 0.3 kg | None |
| Scout Backpack | $350 | 2×4 | 8 | 2 kg | None |
| Field Backpack | $650 | 3×3 | 9 | 0.88 kg | Career Lvl 12 · $20,000 |
| Operator Backpack | $800 | 3×5 | 15 | 0.8 kg | Career Lvl 20 · $25,000 |
| Assault Backpack | $1,200 | 3×5 | 15 | 1.3 kg | Career Lvl 32 · $50,000 |
| Ruck Backpack | $2,400 | 4×6 | 24 | 1.5 kg | Career Lvl 56 · $100,000 |
| Gunner Backpack + Sling | $3,500 | 4×6 | 24 | 1.5 kg | Career Lvl 73 · $125,000 |
| Arsenal Backpack + 2 Slings | $5,000 | 5×6 | 30 | 1.5 kg | Career Lvl 150 · $175,000 |
The Field Backpack is the value pick: 9 slots for $650 at 0.88 kg — lighter than the 8-slot Scout, and it only wants a $20,000 unlock rather than the Operator's $25,000. The Operator is the ratio champion: 15 slots at 0.8 kg, lighter than the Scout that holds eight.
Price and unlock are two different numbers. Earlier versions of this page listed the Operator at $25,000 and the Assault at $50,000 — those are their one-time unlock costs. The packs themselves are $800 and $1,200. Same error we found on the foregrips.
Grid dimensions come from MetaForge item pages. Where a published slot count disagrees with the grid — the wardogshandbook lists the Field at 12 and the Assault at 21 — this table follows the grid, since W×H is unambiguous and matches on five of eight packs. The Gunner and Arsenal names include their slings because that is how they are sold.
Medical
| Item | Price | Slots | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| Emergency Resuscitator | Free | 1×2 · 2 | Single-use revive. Costs nothing — always carry one |
| Bandage | $200 | 1×1 · 1 | Stops bleeding, one slot |
| Stim Pen / Adrenaline Pen | $250 | 1×1 · 1 | Quick revival with temporary, decaying health |
| Enox | $450 | 1×1 · 1 | Consumable granting decaying health |
| Field Resuscitator | $500 | 1×2 · 2 | Reusable step up from the free Emergency version |
| Individual First Aid Kit | $800 | 1×1 · 1 | Self-heal in one slot |
| Defibrillator | $1,600 | 2×2 · 4 | Instant teammate revival, battery-powered |
| Medical Bag | $2,000 | 2×2 · 4 | Heals/revives teammates over time |
The Emergency Resuscitator is free. It takes 2 slots and buys back a life. There is no argument for leaving it behind. Bandages are $200 — not free, but worth the single slot.
"Stim Pen" and "Adrenaline Pen" appear in different community sources at the same $250 and the same 1×1 footprint, and no source lists both. They are very likely one item under two names, so we list it once.

Buying tips
- The four $10 Building Supplies are the highest value-per-dollar purchase in the game if you're anywhere near a FOB — always carry a few.
- A Defibrillator + Medical Bag combo ($3,600 total) covers both fast and sustained revive needs — a strong pair for a dedicated Medic once affordable.
- Repair Tool + Fuel Can ($300 total) should be considered baseline kit for any Driver or Pilot.
