Corrected 28 Aug 2026. This page previously listed the unlock requirement as "None" for 30 of the 33 weapons. That was wrong: only seven are genuinely ungated. The rest carry both a level requirement and a large one-time unlock cost, now shown.
Prices and unlock requirements below are pulled from community data collected during the Closed Beta (21–24 Aug 2026). Bulkhead has confirmed 37 weapons for Early Access, up from 33 in the Alpha — numbers below reflect the beta snapshot and will shift at Early Access launch on 10 Sep 2026. Check Sources & Data Freshness before treating any single number as final.
Price is not the barrier — the unlock is
Read the Unlock column before the price. Almost every weapon sits behind two costs:
- the price, paid every time you buy it, and
- a one-time unlock, paid once at a required level — and the unlock is usually far larger.
The AMR 50 is an $8,800 rifle behind a $200,000 unlock at Recon 35. The GGX 17 is a $200 pistol behind a $5,000 unlock. Weapon unlocks dwarf weapon prices, which makes your level the real gate on your arsenal, not your bank balance.
Seven weapons have no unlock at all and are available immediately: Bushmaster M17S, A-91 and KH-2002 (all free), plus the T-21, Scout Rifle TD, AMP-9 and MP43. Those seven are what a new account can actually field — see How To: Buy a Weapon.
A note on track names: the unlock column uses Infantry, Career and the role names as the source states them. Our Progression guide calls the assault-rifle track Assault; "Infantry" is almost certainly the same track under another name, and "Career" is the account-wide level we call Wardog Level — but we list them as published rather than silently normalising.
Assault Rifles
| Weapon | Price | Unlock Requirement | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bushmaster M17S | $0 | None | Free recruit rifle · 3.17 kg |
| T-21 | $600 | None | 3.27 kg |
| AK74 | $1,600 | Infantry Lvl 3 · $10,000 | 3 kg |
| Galil | $2,200 | Infantry Lvl 10 · $35,000 | 3.95 kg |
| M4 | $2,800 | Infantry Lvl 20 · $100,000 | 2.92 kg |
| FAL | $6,500 | Infantry Lvl 35 · $200,000 | 4.25 kg |
| A-91 | $0 | None | Free recruit rifle · 3.17 kg |
| KH-2002 | $0 | None | Free recruit rifle · 3.17 kg |
There are three free rifles, not one. The Bushmaster M17S, A-91 and KH-2002 are the same weapon in three liveries — 3.17 kg, 5.56×45mm, 28 damage, 700 rpm, semi-auto and burst only. An earlier version of this page listed the A-91 and KH-2002 as Not yet available, which was wrong: both are live and cost nothing.
The free rifle hits as hard as the M4. 5.56×45mm does 28 damage whatever fires it, so a free recruit rifle needs the same number of body shots as a $2,800 M4. What you're buying when you upgrade is full auto — the free rifles are semi and burst only — plus handling, attachment options and magazine capacity. Not stopping power. Spend the $2,800 when you want the fire mode, not because the free gun feels weak on paper.
The faction names are cosmetic, as far as anyone can confirm. MetaForge's flavour text calls the A-91 "Valkyra's" and the KH-2002 "Manticore's", and the real-world origins line up neatly with the factions — but the only documented link is a faction-themed finish in the Supporter Edition. Whether your faction determines which rifle you get is not confirmed anywhere. An earlier version of this page stated it did, and that you therefore couldn't choose. That was an inference from a lore blurb presented as a mechanic — treat all three as available until Early Access proves otherwise.
Attachment limits. MetaForge records the recruit rifles as unable to equip optics, grips or muzzle devices, while still listing magazine slots. The two statements conflict and neither is confirmed in-game, so the Loadout Builder still offers attachments for them rather than guessing at a restriction. Treat with caution until Early Access settles it.

Ballistics note
WARDOGS uses real-world-style ballistics with actual bullet drop and travel time — a gun that shreds at 50m can feel useless at 200m. Match your weapon choice to your role's actual engagement range rather than picking by price or stats alone.
